Our Italian cooking classes are taught by Chef Dean Chambers, formerly of Austin's Sienna and Vino Vino restaurants. He teaches risottos, pastas, meats and seafoods the way they are made in the homes of Tuscany, Abruzzo, or Naples.
Dean's passion for Italian cooking comes from his weekly Sunday dinners with his Grandfather Pavone, an incredible Italian-born home cook whose specialty is his Sunday gravy.
Chef Dean studied at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners in Piedmont, Italy, learning about the importance of quality, fresh ingredients, methods, and the culture of this beautiful land.
Every culinary experience is unique and features hands-on instruction, followed by a chef's table dining experience where you can ask Chef Dean about his travels to Italy, his recipes, or his Italian family.
